Jazzens Historier er et unikt møde mellem kunstner og publikum, hvor kunstneren deler ud af sit musikalske univers.
Inden og efter koncerten vil der blive spiller vi musik fra Jazzcentrets egen samling, som er udvalgt specielt til lejligheden af kunstneren selv. I pausen vil der blive fortalt lidt om de historiske optagelser, og om hvordan og hvorfor musikken har påvirket musikerens eget spil og syn på musik. Efter koncerten kan publikum og kunstneren personligt i jazzcentret bar.
The Tales behind Jazz is a unique meeting between artists and their audience.
Each artist chooses one album from our collection which is played before and after the concert. In the break, we'll hear the artist say few words about the album and it's personal meaning for the artist. After the concert, we'll have a space for conversation about the album and artists own work.
Agne Pasaravičiene Quartet explores a musical medium where different artistic personalities can unfold and interact to serve a listener with a sonic modern jazz experience.
With her compositions for the quartet, Agnė Pasaravičienė creatively embraces her different musical backgrounds of classical and jazz music and creates playful musical spaces filled with a wide range of the instruments' dynamics, timbres, and each musician's personal musical vocabulary.

Eyal Lovett is an Israeli jazz pianist and composer. In 2017, he was awarded the prize for “Artist of the year” by Jazzy Berlin and his trio won 1st place at the international competition JazzWings in Warsaw in 2018.
In 2022, the trio will be releasing their 4th album on BERTHOLD Records and between July 2021 and spring 2022, the band is touring in Denmark, Germany, Holland, Czech Republic, Israel and the United Kingdom.
Eyal's music is focused on storytelling, deep and thoughtful compositions, and mesmerising performance and execution. Influenced by the likes of Bill Evans, Brad Mehldau, Avishai Cohen and Gilad Hekselman, Eyal's music has a "classical" architecture and development and enchanting Mediterranean melodies, from his homeland Israel.
